CHERTSEY

BOATS, BRIDGES, BOILERS ... IF IT'S GOT RIVETS, I'M RIVETTED

River. Where?

I've been off on a little trip... Somewhere Chertsey won't be venturing, but very nice nonetheless.
So go on, where was I, and what's the river?

  1. There is no way that anyone is going to get that! It is a very long way from where you are moored for sure... What a teaser..

The river is Four letters.. see if someone else knows.

Good clue in the title though ;)

  2. A long way from where you moor .... and a lot further from where you live!

And sounds like a connection with the lead singer of The Seekers.

  4. Since we are avoiding the name of the river how about Elvet Bridge as an answer to a question you didn't ask.

  7. Off your topic, Sarah, but in reply to Sue and Kevin, I've done some research into the infuriating Blogger thing where it won't let you log in, and you have to post comments anonymously: it seems it only happens on blogs where the comments are embedded in the page (ones where the comments appear in a pop-up box aren't affected); the way round it is to un-tick the "stay signed in" box -- you'll be able to log in and post as yourself.
